13th ANNUAL KID'S FISHING DERBY
Over 180 kids along with their parents/guardians participated in this year's Derby! They were catching fish left and right and grinning from ear-to-ear and, of course, chowing down on the free hot dogs, drinks and chips. They also were learning! Thanks to biology teacher Mrs. Timmons from Merrimack Valley High School who treated them to tadpoles, frogs and all sorts of other pond inhabitants. Plus, thanks to NH Fish and Game they were able to handle a variety of animal pelts. (See next page for more)
We would also like to thank all of our local merchants and contributors for their support over the past thirteen years. Their support helps make this community event successful.
Thanks also to the many volunteers, especially the Naval Sea Cadets and Boy Scout Troop 90, who contributed their time and efforts during the derby.
